Are you passionate about pelvic floor physical therapy but worried about burnout, rushed visits, or insurance hurdles?
At Optimize Pelvic Health, we do things differently.
We’re a concierge, out-of-network clinic in San Jose, CA that provides hour-long 1:1 visits. We’re committed to helping you grow as a confident pelvic floor PT, without sacrificing your well-being. Whether you're a seasoned clinician or just starting out, we offer the support, structure, and mentorship to help you thrive.
We are currently hiring for a Pelvic Floor PT-in-Training or Staff Level to join our team. You'll start with a reduced caseload and grow at your into your schedule while being supported by experienced clinicians.

Mentorship That Actually Supports You
For new grads or physical therapists transitioning into pelvic health, we provide a 3–4 month structured mentorship program (based on experience level). During this time, you’ll treat patients approximately half-time and spend the remaining time in dedicated training and support.
Our mentorship includes:
- Weekly training with videos, journal articles and one-on one training, on common pelvic diagnoses (e.g., vaginismus, prolapse, urinary leakage, painful sex, constipation)
- Hands-on skills labs to refine manual therapy techniques
- Weekly and monthly mentorship meetings to review real cases, problem-solve, and build clinical confidence
Please note: The mentorship period is paid at a different rate.
We support your growth at every stage:
- PFPT-in-Training – Foundational mentorship, observation, and onboarding
- Staff PT – Independent caseload + holistic care
- Advanced PT – Treat complex cases + participates in community events + quarterly bonus eligibility
- Clinical Lead – Leadership, strategic input, and bonus eligibility

What We Offer:
- $55–$62/hour equivalent (salary will depend on hours worked (32, 35, 40 hr/week available)
- $45/hr salary equivalent during the 3-4 month training period.
- Performance bonuses available for Advanced PT and Clinical Lead positions
- 2 weeks PTO + paid sick leave + paid holidays + paid holiday shut down
- $2000/year CEU stipend
- QSEHRA program (healthcare reimbursement program)
- Relocation-friendly: must reliably commute or plan to relocate to San Jose, CA 95133

Requirements
Responsibilities & Clinical Expectations
Patient Care
- Treat 6–8 patients per day depending on your schedule and experience level
- During mentorship, pelvic floor PTs-in-training see 3–4 patients/day to allow time for learning and support
- Provide thoughtful, one-on-one care rooted in our holistic pelvic health model
- Clearly communicate care plan and goals
Patient Management
- Conduct monthly reviews of patients who have discontinued or fallen off your schedule to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation without the burden of insurance-based approval
Professional Development
- Stay current with continuing education to support both licensure and advanced clinical skills
- Engage in team mentorship meetings, skills labs, and case reviews as part of our clinic-wide learning culture
Clinical Metrics
- Maintain a >90% schedule fill rate
- Aim for an evaluation-to-follow-up ratio of 1:8 to ensure long-term patient progress
