Physical Therapy Instructor
Chapman University’s Department of Physical Therapy seeks applications for non-tenure track Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor positions. Successful candidates will begin summer 2014, when the Department will move to the new Chapman University Health Science campus. The new campus is designed to foster an inter-professional educational environment and to use cutting-edge technology in teaching and practice. Physical Therapy’s new home will feature state-of-the-art facilities, including motional analysis and human anatomy laboratories and innovative teaching spaces. The Department will be co-located with the School of Pharmacy and the Department of Physician Assistant Studies.
Teach doctor of physical therapy students in areas of expertise. Participate in research according to CAPTE requirements. Mentor physical therapy students and participate in professional/academic service including maintaining clinical competency. Interested in or familiar with inter-professional education and use of technology in teaching and physical therapy practice is ideal.

Education, training, experience:
DPT or terminal degree from an accredited program and licensed or eligible for licensure in California. Preference given to candidates with a specialty certification and ability to teach/or interest in inter-professional education and/or incorporating technology in teaching and practice.
